My Payment Failed - What Should I Do?

We understand that failed payments happen! The most common reasons are an expired card, an incorrect billing address, or a temporary block placed by your bank.

The good news is that your subscription is still active, and you can easily fix this by updating your payment information in your self-service portal.

 

Step 1: Update Your Payment Method Immediately

 

Your subscription won't charge and your order won't ship until this is resolved. Follow these steps to update your card:

  1. Access Your Portal: Go to the eightbillion.com website and click on the Account or Log In button.

  2. Go to Billing: Once logged in, click on "Address and payment details" and then navigate to the "Billing Information" tab.

  3. Add/Edit Card: Edit the existing card or click "Add New Payment Method."

  4. Confirm Details: Carefully re-enter your card number, expiration date, and ensure the billing address matches the address associated with that card.

  5. Apply Card: Select the new or updated card and make sure it is assigned to your active subscription.


 

Step 2: Retry the Payment

 

Once you have successfully updated your payment method, the system needs to be told to try the charge again.

  1. View Upcoming Orders: After saving your card, go back to the main "Subscriptions" or "Upcoming Orders" page in your portal.

  2. Process Now: You should see a failed or outstanding order listed. Click the "Retry Payment" or "Process Order Now" button next to that order.

The charge will attempt to process instantly. If successful, your order will be sent to our fulfillment center and shipped shortly!

If your payment fails immediately after successfully updating the card and attempting a retry, please take these final steps:

  1. Contact Your Bank: Call the number on the back of your credit or debit card. Tell your bank that you are trying to complete a recurring purchase from Eightbillion and ask them to approve the transaction.

  2. Try a Different Card: If the issue persists, try adding a completely different payment card to your account.

  3. Contact Support: If you've tried everything above, please contact the Eightbillion customer support team so we can investigate the specific error code with our payment processor.
